• [QUOTE]If a spider is in my house, I'm usually all, "oh hey, spidey," and we each go about our business. One time, a spider made a little web in the corner of the little room that has my toilet, and I didn't have the heart to vacuum it up, because it provided entertainment for me.

I'm sorry, I totally read this as "the little room that was my toilet".
• The exterminator told my mom that those sprays don't really work on spiders unless they are directly sprayed. Apparently their legs don't absorb the residual poision like other bugs do or something like that.

This is why I always directly spray them. Right on their absorbent little legs.

[QUOTE]I save it. I love spiders they are awesome looking. I don't kill any bugs though, except biting bugs.

I've had a spider bite me. It was awful. I'm sorry I scream for FI and he comes and kills them.
• I hate spiders, but refuse to kill them. I keep them under a cup under FI comes home and can get rid of them. Yuck.

This is my very first time posting in an FFF, and I'm doing it wrong, but there has been way too much crazy this week to keep up on it.
• There was some kind of reddish brown, large spider in my bathroom last night. AND we had the house flea bombed yesterday, so I was feeling pretty confident there were no bugs in my house, period (the flies we got for some reason are gone now too). It's like the spider was saying, "HAHAHA, sucks to be you!"

The OP in the panic thread seemed like a moron, but shiit happens. Sometimes people have children in great circumstances, then end up divorcing, losing insurance, and living in poverty-like conditions. I'd reserve judgement over someone who was a mother not having insurance unless I knew the circumstances why.

I don't mind the small spiders or daddy long legs so much. But the spider in the picture below is a problem. Several of them would infiltrate my old house every year throughout spring and summer. They're big, hairy and run like hell. I have a heard time not crying or having an anxiety attack when I see them.

• Shaye, that is some bullshiit right there. You can't even step on it!! All of the innards would leave a disgusting mess. I would probably put a cup over that one and call animal control. Do you think it's big enough to move the cup while crawling?!

I also love the retro tape look you got going there.

Yeah, I used to put a glass on them and then scream for someone to come and take it away. They're the worst. They're also poisonous but luckily, most of the time, their fangs can't really break the skin.

This is actually not my picture. I just know what type of spiders they are so I found one online that showed a good size comparison. I have a couple of pictures of the actual ones I've seen but they're on an old camera somewhere.

They're wolf spiders or a close relative the water spider. Ugh. The house is in a wooded area, but you wouldn't really find them in places that aren't.

Sorry, that was pretty gross.

I am now freaked out because a napkin landed on my feet under my desk, and I thought it was a bug. I'm sitting with my legs tucked under now. Ugh.
• Shaye- That actually made me laugh out loud. Much better now. I can deal with smiley faces that have 8 legs.
• Haha Shaye, love it!

• OMFG that spider is horrible. We have wolf spiders here in the wooded areas and they can JUMP. F that. I saw one once when a group of us were taking down a large tent and I dropped the section I was holding and ran.

• *runs in* ...I once dropped a brick on one of those Shaye type spiders that had a humongous egg sac attached to it, outside the front door of my house, so I wouldn't have to feel the squish or track the eggs inside on the bottom of my shoe. My yard was infested with those dang things. I also used to chase them up the outside wall of the house with the weed eater as I was doing yard work. They live in the grass and freak the F out of me.... *runs out, avoiding thrown objects*

I just want you to know I re-read my post to you and I was unfairly harsh. I am sorry. I don't think what you did was necessarily flame worthy. I really just brought my own personal issues into it because I wished some one had smacked sense into me earlier that my MIL is just a nut case in similar scenarios.
