Here's what you do. Paint a cockandballs on the side of someone's house in the middle of the night. Then in the morning, you go to their house and say "oh wow. How unfortunate that someone would paint a cockandballs on your house. I will be happy to remove it for a small donation to our honeymoon registry". If you are eloping to spend the money you would have spent on a wedding on your honeymoon, why are you having a honeymoon registry? And who the eff are you sending the "GIVE ME YOUR MONEY" cards to?

So basically what you are really saying is "We have no money, want to get married, and want a HM, so ya'll need to pay for it!"

Let's actually dissect this post for a moment as well. She really thinks people are going to purchase big ticket items on a HM registry before they even get an invite to the wedding? I kind of want an update this on a few months when no one has purchased a thing and they have to announce their elopment is coming just to get those free massages.

JOP or elopement of any kind means you forgo gifts of any kind as well. And you never asks for gifts in the first place.
