I've been in the alternate universe for awhile now.

Adamar, FI is going to the theater Thursday night at 6 to watch all three Batman films in a row on IMAX (so he will see Dark Knight Rises at midnight). In total, 8 hours and 45 minutes of Batman. He is so freakin excited about it.

I'm going to an office baby shower now just to get the snackies. I forgot my apple today.

Holy cow, is Sweetie's a nation-wide thing? I just went in for the first time and it's like the Costco of candy stores.

And my coworker that has no filter just told me he won't let his wife go to the train station with him because that's where all the homeless people are and they'll murder you and steal your money so they can get their next fix. I don't even know what to say to this guy anymore (that won't get me fired).

This makes me thankful I'm marrying a man who knows better than to ever let the words "I won't let my wife ..." come out of his mouth.

I can't believe how many "What? Rich is actually helping you with the girlie wedding stuff? How odd ..." I've gotten. Yes, I'm marrying someone who considers this our wedding and who sees us as equal. What an incredible concept!

Hi all! I can't see any of this mornings posts, either. Boo.

I just woke up from a nap. During class I got one of those stabby, behind the eyes headaches. There was no way I was going to run my errands with that going on! I feel better now, I'm just waiting for a pot of coffee to brew. I just woke up wanting a nice cup of coffee.

Now, I'm off to catch up with the rest of this thread.

I see TK is having problems again. Yay.

My new class starts any minute. It's going to be supremely boring, and it's populated with many of the same douchey grad students I bitched about last quarter (they openly mocked other people for participating, even though participation made up a quarter of the grade).

The room is also approximately 90 degrees and very humid. Apparently, this room is always hot, even in the winter. My glasses keep fogging up. It's awful. They better find another room.

This guy is such a piece of work. The stories I've heard of his wife though lead me to believe she is as well (using the N word and telling 3 black men there was a reason their ancestors were slaves).

H was really pretty good about wedding stuff. Granted food, booze, music and men's attire held his interest a lot more than stationary and flowers but he helped decide on probably 90% of the stuff.

Who does this in a grad class? Actually, who does this outside of high school? It's just especially weird to me that grad students would do this, I would think if your are going to make the effort to get a masters level education you would want to actually learn and participate.
