Using Bride's Wedding Colors

Is it appropriate to use the bride's wedding colors for other bridal events such as the bridal shower?

Re: Using Bride's Wedding Colors

  • No.  Go right ahead.
  • It's fine but I think it's more fun to do something different.
  • It's fine.  I am skeptical that people are going to remember and make the connection.
  • Where was my brain when I typed that response?  I meant to write Yes, Go right ahead!
  • Brides generally pick colours for their wedding that they really like, so it makes sense to me to incorporate them into the bridal shower. Every shower I've been to used the wedding colours in the decor.
  • Most of my friends' showers incorporated their wedding colors, but then my friends threw me an amazing shower with black/white/red Marilyn Monroe shower invites for my white/turquoise beach wedding. It's good either way!

<div>Lol!  I see you corrected yourself, but I decided you meant, "You can pick the wedding colors, or choose something else."  It was super shorthand!  </div>
