We were married about 5 weeks ago and at the wedding our photographer said that we should expect our photos in 2-3 weeks. Great! That would give us enough time to order thank you cards and potential Christmas gifts for family. I wouldn't have had an issue if he had said it would take a month or so, but I'm more mad that he gave the timeline with no intention of meeting that commitment.
Here we are 5 weeks later with nothing, not even an acknowledgement that he was there. I've sent an email and left voicemail with no return. How often should I pester him?

My initial plan was to call 2x a week, at least until he responds to me. If he's going to make unrealistic timelines for himself - I'll be glad to remind him that there are people waiting on the other end!
In the meantime, you may want to write a review on wedding wire to warn future brides. That's where I have been checking reviews and I see he only has one negative review now.

it took us 14 weeks to get our DVD of images and we are still waiting for books of our prints.
at the wedding he said it would be 9 weeks. so i emailed at 9 weeks. then he said he needed another 3 so i emailed in 3, but he was pushing it back again! my photographer always emailed me right back and that is annoying you havent heard frmo yours. i would stay on him! what does your contract say? you paid for a service and you deserve to get your images!
good luck!
I looked at our contract when we got back and it says nothing about timeframe, which stinks. What also stinks is that you HAD to pay in full 2 weeks prior to the wedding (or something like that) so he has all of our money and zero incentive to get anything out the door. I wish I hadn't been so far in la-la land and paid more attention!
