Gah! help dress/clothing wedding freak out

so this is my wedding dress.

it's pretty but I don't love it, i bought it because it fit our halloween in old hollywood theme, and the wedding was suppossed to be formal. well now my bridesmaids both went off and bought dresses that were way to casual without my appooval and can't return them, and the guests I've talked too or all dressing super casual. due to budget constraints I've dropped the glam aspects of my wedding and now it looks vintage halloween, which is still cute. but heres the thing, I went to pick up my dress last night at davids bridal ,and due to stress I lost a ton of weight and the dress doesn't fit, so now I have to pay another 100 bucks to further alter a dress that I don't love and don't feel bridal in. I'm tempted to try another dress that would fit our theme , and I love this one,

i feel like it's fun and fits my theme, but do I dare spend more money on a dress? I have already bought two! I'm a three dress bride, but I hate the one I have. I think I have some sort of mental disorder involving the dress

  • If you can afford to buy another dress, it's really your call. If you feel like this new dress would fit your theme better, then go for it. I do have to say that I think the Galina dress is more elegant, but if your event is becoming more casual, then you might have more fun with the new one.

[QUOTE]In all honesty, if you can afford a third one, then go for it. You want to feel beautiful and happy on your wedding day. I would definitely try to sell the others. If you cannot afford it, then just go with what you have. I am sure that once you get your hair done, make-up on, etc it will look wonderful on you.

This. Sell the other 2 and get the third one. You don't want to be standing there on your wedding day wishing you were wearing something else.

  • I think they're both pretty spectacular dresses. I've always loved the first one. And, because it doesn't have a train or a lot of big skirt, I think it works in a casual setting. Good luck deciding before the alterations date. If you can afford it, you should have what you really want.
