FI's cousin is due to have her baby April 6th. She's had a tough pregnancy and all along we've been telling her that she's not the only one to ever have a baby. She complains a lot as it is so she announced her every ache and pain during pregnancy and we all brushed it off. I also didn't even factor in that she is also on meds from when she had thyroid cancer so that's another piece to this. At her shower on Saturday I found out that her baby was getting steroid shots to get her lungs ready in case they had to take her early. She looked awful at her shower and at the family's super bowl party last night. Her face was bright red, she was exhausted, she was on bed rest already, and yesterday she wasn't comfortable no matter how her body was positioned. She wasn't supposed to go to the doctor until 10 today but at 7am, I found out she was at the hospital and she is being induced today and will probably have her baby tomorrow. The baby is 4lbs already so she's not terribly small, but she's not due for another 2 months. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers that mom and baby will be okay.
