August 2012 Weddings

A few checks

Had my first dress fitting, but it wasn't as great as I hoped. My hips are a bit wider then when  I last tried it on so it has to be taken out slightly and the bust needs to be taken in. Had my second bridal shower on Sunday, small turn out since something has happened between my mom and most of the family so drama is slowly brewing. Praying nothing comes to head at the wedding. And I finally ordered my bridesmaids gifts. I found them on Etsy and I figured since they now have a few options to wear to the wedding, both the heart and the pearl, just the heart or just the pearl. I thought they are super cute so here they are. http://www.etsy.com/listing/97171439/tiny-copper-hammered-heart-with-potato

So, all I have left to do is the
-Seating chart
-Escort cards
-Favors
-Programs

Can't believe our weddings are right around the corner!

Congrats on the checks! O hope that family drama doesn't put a damper on your wedding. Don't worry about the fitting. That is exactly what they are doing to my dress, too. It turns out when I first tried it on, they didn't really pull it down as far as it is really supposed to fit. So when the actual manager of the store did my fitting, she said it would be best to actually take it out a bit so it sits right on my body. I'm excited because now I know it will show off my curves just right.

I think that is what happened too with my dress. I'm hoping the dress plays up my curves once it is sitting right. I'm just glad I am not the only one feeling this anxiety about it. I can't wait to see it in a few weeks when the seamstress is done. And actually I think the family drama is happening now which will be nice so I don't have to worry about it the night of, but I'm basically paying for most of it in the long run.
