FI and I both feel very strongly about the fact that our children are going to get their asses beat if they're bullies. FI was bullied a lot as a child, I was a little bit on the school bus in elementary school and we both have no tolerance for it.

But you know what doesn't sit right with me? All this money they're raising is great, and nice, and wonderful...but what about kids that are brutally bullied day in and day out? I mean, I don't know. It sends sort of a weird message to me.

Ironically, a school bus driver in another nearby town (maybe 30 miles away from where this Greece incident took place) was just charged for endangering the welfare of a child for covering the mouth of an unruly child on her bus.

Those boys should all have to work for a year in an assisted living residence serving food, cleaning toilets, changing sheets, cleaning the floor after bathroom accidents, etc. Maybe then they would think twice about picking on elderly people. Well, anyone for that matter but especially an elderly woman.

I just think that if there hadn't been a video, (obviously) the fallout out this would be completely different.

Hopefully, the kids will learn from this, get their act together and become people who contribute in a positive way to the world.

As for the woman, I hope she rolls around in her living room in her $500K and never has to work again.

I just put both on my wish list! I have about 37 books on my Kindle and 5 actual books right now I need to get wading through, so I've put myself on a book buying diet for now. I'm excited though!

KJB I doubt she will ever work again. She makes $15k a year. She wouldn't make that much money in the rest of her lifetime.

It almost seems like she knew that they were going to post the video and get busted, because at one point she says "why don't you get all their faces on there." Or something like that.

And yes, kids need to learn respect absolutely. But at the same time, some of the most well respected kids in front of their parents can be complete asshats at school and surrounded by friends. I would like to think my kid would never do this, but no matter what sometimes peer pressure will win out.
