My Entertainment Weekly came yesterday with the fall TV preview on the cover. Anyone super giddy about any new shows debuting this season? What is your favorite returning show?

I am going to try "Nashville" with Connie Britton and Hayden Peniterre (sp?). I'm a big Connie Britton fan and I'm starting to get into country music. So we'll see. As for my returning favorite, that would be Hart of Dixie with Rachel Bilson. I'm a sucker for romantic comedies and that's the feel of this show, with a little Gilmore Girls thrown in.

Also, I'd like to give a shout out to my favorite show of last year, Ringer. It did not get renewed because no one watched it. It was super cheesy, but super fun. Anyone else watch it and can commiserate with me?

    I am ridiculously bummed that The Sing Off isn't coming back....like, irrationally sad.  I was really excited for the return of Grimm!  One show that I'm really interested in giving a try is Partners...I really hope that ends up being funny.

    ETA: Smooch, I grew up in central PA?  What area, if you don't mind me asking?

    Nashville looks interesting... but I dunno if I'll catch it.
    I loved Bunheads over the summer, did you see any of that one?

    Hooray! Who is your favorite character? I love Kristina and Julia. I actually like all of the stories they have going on between each of the smaller families within the Braverman family. PLUS I've got to love any show Meghan Rotundi is on, even if it is sporadically.

    I really want to start watching Nashville too. I love Connie Britton. My favorite show used to be Friday Night Lights.

    I am mostly excited for DEXTER!!! It premieres September 30th.

    I can't freakin wait for Dexter and Homeland to come back. Also, Survivor, Scandal, Gossip Girl, and X-Factor (I've never watched before but I'm a Britney fanatic so I will be watching this season).

    </div><div>I would have to agree with you as far as Kristina and Julia. My favorite thing about the show are the mother-daughter relationships, just because they are soooo realistic. This season, I'd like to see soemthing crazy happen with Hattie, like she gets knocked up or something...

    I wanted to try Bunheads but I missed the premeire and then life happened, and I never saw any of them. Is it on demand?

    I dunno about being on "on demand", :) but you can watch it on Hulu. I dig the fast talking. And there are lots of Gilmore Girl actors on it. Brings me back...

    I grew up in Lebanon.  I went to Mount St. Mary's for undergrad which is pretty close to Gettysburg and our wedding reception was at Ski Liberty :)

    Very familiar with MSM! My dad went there, and basically all my aunts and uncles and grandmother! I could have gone there, but I wanted to go more than a half hour away. I actually even tried to get a job there a few years back.

    I've been to one wedding at Ski Liberty (dont remember it too much), but one of my FI's GM is getting married there in October. I love the setting there. Very cool!

    Yes, I was hooked by the pilot. I'm usually going to bed at 10, and never stay up for any show. I just watch them later. I stay up for Scandal!

    LOL, the dad from Family Matters. I know! Not sure about Lemon and Lavon. I did like their chemistry (that episode about the heat wave), but I like him too much for him to end up with her. I bet they'll make her more rebellious now. That's my guess. Sometimes I like her, sometimes I don't. George, eh, I don't really like the character either. I like the actor, but he doesn't have much to work with. I did love the scene in the finale when he said, "Why didnt  anyone tell me she was staying." I thought that was nicely done. :) I heart Hart of Dixie. :)

    Vampire Diaries. I love me some Ian Somerhalder. And that's pretty much the only show I watch. Besides Doctor Who, which has already started back up, but I'm still playing catch up.
