So did you make a New Years Resolution? and if so what is it?

Nah. I do need to go to the gym and start eating better, though.

I have my first fitting on the 17th and I'm starting to worry I've gained too much weight since I last tried it on at the end of May.

I did not. I never follow through with them and there is nothing I really care about that much. Maybe mine should be to not take life so seriously...between nursing school and the wedding my nerves go through the ringer!

But FI has a new years goal...he wants us to be debt free by the end of the year except for our morgage and a suprise student loan that was dropped in his lap.

I didn't actually make one this year. The last few years that I did make one I didn't keep so I am not even bothering with it this time around.

I've made a few. Mostly surrounding getting healthy (like always) and trying to pay down some of our debt

I kept the one I made last year for the ENTIRE year!!! I gave up caffeine for New Year's and still to this day I am a water addict and don't drink anything with caffeine in it. (BTW if anyone wants to try this, expect a headache for about 2-3 days...with no excedrin cause that's cheating it has caffeine in it! It was pretty brutal but absolutely worth it! It helped a ton with weight loss and I can only remember having 1 or 2 headaches all year long!)

So I did make a New Year's resolution this year since I had such success last year...

Mine is to not overindulge this year. I am notorious for eating until I am bursting at the seams. I am going to try to "Eat to live, not live to eat" which will be very hard for me because I absolutely LOVE to eat! lol

So with the wedding and then my 10 year high school reunion this summer I figure I can probably keep it for at least 6 months!

I didn't make one this year. I kind of wanted to, but I couldn't think of anything I really need to stop doing. I guess I could START doing some things, but eh..I'm not really good with long term resolutions. lol

Mine was to do better and not slack in school. UGH I WANT MY DEGREE SOOO BAD!! Everyone thinks I'm nuts to take 3 classes during the semester of the wedding.
