I don't know how big a venue you need, but many of the community halls in the area allowed until midnight if not a little later, I think, and if they have a kitchen, you can have caterers use the kitchens there. For example, I looked at the Laguna Town Hall and also the Pavilion in Elk Grove.

    Hi,
Check  the www.Gablesinn.com as you can have the grounds in the back of their bed & breakfast. I think it's only 2 grand for 150. We did an event there for their grand opening.
Check us out too. www.screenboothsonoma,com for the newest photobooth in Sonoma County!
    Happy wedding.

Hi Angela, my name is Angela too! Welcome! I live in Roseville and I've helped with many events that require outside catering. I've used community recreation rooms, parks, theaters, libraries and even empty buildings. You contact the owners and work a deal with them. (this can be expensive though and usually only works out if your event is being planned with little notice.)
Just look around and find an area that you like and then start asking the businesses around that area and see what you come up with. It is amazing how many idea's (and friends) you'll make just explaining that you want a unique wedding.
    Good luck and happy planning!
