Any comments on Panache Salon in St. Augustine?

Hi Laides,

has anyone had any experience with Panache Salon and Spa in St. Augustine? I am doing a destination wedding and was going to use them for hair and make up. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

    I girlfriend used them for her wedding back in 2005 and was very happy.

    I have thought of this post a few times over the past few days. I wanted to mentioned to you also that theyare recommended by many of the venues in St. Augustine. I also remember reading them listed on the focused brides and weddings in a couple of the local wedding publications.

    I did a hair trial with them and was EXTREMLY unhappy with not only the result but the service and organization of the wedding cordinator. I decided not to use them and would not recommend them to anyone.

    Just a small part of what went wrong... I was told my total for BOTH hair and make-up trial with the stylist would be $80 and when I went to check out for my hair appt they tried to charge me $95 for JUST hair.

    I've never been to Panache, but I've been going to Envy which is  technically considered Ponte Vedra (they used to be in Jax - Mandarin).  I love them.. .been going for 2 years. And they  have wedding packages... not to mention if you google, you can usually find a coupon as well.

    thank you everyone for your input, it always helps to get a feel for a service from other's who actually used them. I will continue to look until I find exactly what I am looking for.
