Re: ***CONFESSIONS**

I confess, even at this time of year, that I wish all computer account hackers and ID theives would die a slow, agonizing death then spend the rest of their eternity burning in hell.  Last night was a nightmare with Mike and I trying to redo all his e mail and facebook accounts because some a hole hacked his accounts and changed his passwords.  I'm just hoping that's all they got and they don't steal his identity too.

I confess that it freaks me out a little that we have less than 5 months until we get married.

I also confess that I are entirely too many mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cups last night and a couple this morning for breakfast.  Embarassed

I also confess I kind of figured out almost everything my FI got me for Christmas.  In my defense he is horrible at keeping secrets.

Oh what the heck.  I stalked my registry before Christmas and saw 4 things have been bought.  :-)

I really want to go off my birth control.  Not because I want to get pregnant, but because its causing me to retain tons of water, swell up, cramping, and general soreness around the middle of the month.  My wedding is 9 months out, so I am afraid to go off of it or switch now since its been working to prevent pregnancies.  But about a month or two before the wedding, I'm going off it or switching.  Its driving me crazy!

Brian told me I'm selfish last night and that he feels like I don't like his family...and he's sort of right.  His mom is stressful...get-togethers at her house are stressful...I don't deal well with stress so I'm usually in a bad mood when we are over there.

I confess that I managed to wrap FI's presents underneath his nose last night and he had no clue.

I confess that while I really hate being broken, it is really nice to have the guy at the gas station, pizza place, grocery store offer to carry my stuff, open the door, run and grab something off a shelf that I can't reach without falling.

I confess that after the first of the year I am putting my son back in daycare because working from home has not been good for either one of us and puts a real strain on our relationship.

I confess that I am so excited for Christmas that when I got up this morning is probably the last time I will be asleep until after 5 o clock on Friday.

We've been engaged for a year come tomorrow and I really wish we had a short engagement. I'm in wedding blah mode and I just don't care about all the wedding crap we've planned over the past year I just want it over with. Every day I get more tempted to cancel everything, throw on my dress, grab FI and go to get married on a Tuesday afternoon just the two of us.

My advice for the newly engaged: get married asap!

I confess I still am slightly aggravaed with FMIL for making us feel like we had to wait until after FI brother's wedding to get married so as to not usurp them (since they got engaged 2 months before us). It also annoys me that I'm still bothered by this - why can't I let it go?!

I confess that I peeked at some of my gifts that were wrapped.  Matt isn't the greatest at wrapping and it's very easy to open the presents.  I blame him and not me being an impatient person!  Wink

I confess that I'm kind of happy to be alone w/ FI this Christmas.  No running around to everyone's houses and making sure we spend equal time with everyone.... how annoying!

Have you expressed your concerns with your Dr? Perhaps he/she could put you on a different brand to reduce or eliminate those side effects.

I confess that I kicked FI a little harder than I needed to last night to get him to stop snoring for 5 minutes. I've been sick since last week and I was sorely in need of beauty sleep last night.

My new inurance card came in the interoffice mail today...new last name...I confess that it freaked me out for a couple minutes.

I also confess that I didn't completely change my last name.  When we went to Social Security, the guy asked if I wanted to keep both last names...I said yes.  Ironically, it's kind of messed up because Social Security didn't hyphenate (which is what I wanted), but Secretary of State did...so I'm technically two different people.  LOL!  Now, because I'm too lazy to go back to SOS, my combined bank account with Bri has my name hyphenated.  This could turn into a mess.  Oh well.

    • I confess that I spent way more money on FI for Christmas than I was planning on.
    • My mom and dad invited FI's parents and sister over for Christmas dinner tomorrow night with my extended family. I may have a mini freakout between now and tomorrow at 4:30 pm.
    • I cannot believe my ticker says 7 months and some odd weeks! I remember when it was like 1 year and 9 months...where has time gone?
    • I confess I am getting a little worried about not being able to find a job. We desperately need to move and this whole me not having a job thing is scaring me.

I confess that I used nair for the fist time last night and it got a litte messy! Freaked me out b/c I do not like hair! I have a problem with seeing it in the bath tub..I know..weird. I usually shave, but I don't like how shaving affects my skin. But I am for sure a new fITHFUL nair user! It has won me over shaving ever again..if possible.

I also confess that I am annoyed that Damian threw away the little nair hair brush removal thingy b.c he said it looked gross..lol...now what am I suppose to use!!! Arggh

    I confess........................

*I have secretly gone into our registry and changed all kinds of stuff around without telling FI. He'll never remember, we're not having a shower until March.

*I am getting excited for Christmas, mainly because I get some time off, but also because I know I'm getting some presents that I need and I can't wait, lol. That is so bad, but it's the truth.

*I, like Taryn, really don't like celebrating holidays with FI's family. They are stressful people that don't treat FI very well and that is hard for me to be around. I think we would both rather spend all day with MY family then his. (but at the end of the day it is still his family... ugh.)

*FI is getting really excited about moving into our condo next month, but he's kind of jumping ahead. He wants to go shopping for furniture/paint/stuff and we just can't afford it right now. How do you expect for US (aka, ME) pay for all this stuff right now?!?!?!?! It's Christmas!

*And finally a Passive Aggressive note, which will end up more aggressive then passive :)
    Dear Craptastic Supervisor,
Your Christmas card does not make up for the fact that you changed all of our schedules for the next year (taking away 30 minutes of our lunch and adding 30 minutes onto our work day in addition to the lunch cut) without ever DISCUSSING it with us. You are a sorry excuse for a human being and would really love to quit on your azz since you depend on me to answer all the questions that come from YOUR boss, but alas, the economy sucks and that would leave the joke on me and not you. Someday... Someday.
    Karma is a b!tch,
    Emily.

I confess, I am starting to get a little scared about what married life with FI will be like.  He is staying with me in Midland this week, and I thought it would be great, but instead he is annoying me more than usual.  To be fair, it is that special week of the month when most people annoy me more than usual, so I'm hoping that's to blame, not him.  But I'm not confident that's all it is.

Erin, I agree with you that long engagements are a PIA.  We had a 19 month one, and I really wanted fall 2009 wedding but we picked spring 2010 for several reasons.  It was nice to have the extra time to pay off the vendors and take my time planning stuff but all in all I agree 100% and if we could do it again I think I'd have had less than a year's engagement after all.

If you're used to being on your own, I'm sure its difficult having him around.  I felt the same way when I moved in with FI this summer.  It was a very difficult transition and there was a point where I doubted our compatibility.  We had discussions about responsibilities, expectations, etc. and that (along with some bickering here and there) has turned things around.  We've been living together for 6 months and the first 2 months were rocky, but its 100 times better now.

Ditto this. When FI & I first moved in together I came close to breaking up with him because it was a rough transition. But after about 6 months (and good communication) things got better and now I love living with him.

Plus this time of year is stressful in general so I'm sure that doesn't help!

I confess that this puppy has verified our choice not to have children. We love the puppy very much, but holy sh*t. I can't go to the bathroom or take a shower in privacy at all. I finally bought him a collar w/ a bell so I know where he's at. I cannot imagine having a baby because what we're dealing w/ is nothing compared to having a child and I am worn out! lol

Lol. True true, but a child does sleep sometimes, and the first time they look at you and say, " Mommy, I wuv you" it makes it all worth it. Unless of course they are saying this to you because they knocked over your favorite vase and shattered it.

ha ha Oh...the puppy sleeps a lot actually! It's when he's awake that he's causing terror w/ our 7 yr old dog, Nelly. It's pretty funny though. Seamus (not c-mus, shay-mus...lol) is incredibly sweet & melts my heart when he falls asleep w/ me. They are both a lot of work though!

The good thing about babies is that their poo stays in the diaper (usually). We are taking this pup out constantly! He's a poo machine!
