  I think we are just skipping them all together and giving the rings to the best man.  Our ring bearer is going to be 2 1/2, so I don't really trust him with our rings!  We are having 2 flower girls and I think they will just hold his hands.
  
  I have also seen pictures of flower girls/ring bearers holding signs that say "here comes the bride".  Links below.  Could be a cute idea if it fits your wedding style!

  You could do like a ring dish, or skip it and just have your rind bearer hold a sign like "here comes the bride" as he walks down.

  LOVE LOVE LOVE the book idea!  I am a total bookworm so it is perfect.  I just searched a few other ways to include books in my reception and am totally excited.  Thanks everyone for your ideas!

  DH son was our ring bearer, so we wanted him to have a keepsake from the wedding. Instead of him carrying a boring pillow, we took him to Build-A-Bear and had him make a teddy bear. They had  tux outfit that we bought for the bear to wear. Ironically enough, the bear was already name "Berryme", very close to Marry Me! It was a hit, we got a lot of compliments on it and now he sleeps with it every night. BTW, he didn't carry the rings though, BM just held onto them.
