We went to the jewelry store today to see if they could clean up my ring a little bit.
Its 14k white gold, and the gold is starting to come through on the bottom and its pretty scuffed up. They said it could take up to 3 weeks to get back. THEN, they asked me, if the ring is beyond repairable, do i want it back or do i want the money? I was like..WHAT? it just needs to be dipped!
Apparantly when they send it off for service they have to ask "just incase"
Luckily, FH bought the lifetime service pack so I can get it all shiney and nice any time it needs it.
Im kinda bummed because im going dress shopping the weekend of March 4th. Hopefully I have it back by then.
Anyone else have to part with their ring for a few weeks? Don't you feel naked without it?

Married at last! *11-18-11*

Have fun dress shopping! Do you have any favorite dresses yet?
Wedding Bio
I kept pulling the Alfred Angelo 2031 over and over again out of magazines. I had a pile of dresses that i ripped out of magazines and at the end of it, there was 3 of the same one. My bridesmaid said its a sign..so we'll see..
AND, i've been watching "say yes to the dress" faithfully, every night. Its all i can think about.
Ill keep you guys posted!!
Im going to get it re-sized when im done loosing weight. Thankfully, I fit into a standard 7 right now, but its starting to become too loose. Ill weight until september or so to send it back in and get it resized and buffed and dipped again!
[QUOTE]I do have a couple in mind. My bridesmaid and I looked through a bunch of wedding magazines today to see what i liked (i've been dreading going dress shopping since the beginning, <strong>but im down 40 pounds so its making me feel a little more "bridal"</strong>) I kept pulling the Alfred Angelo 2031 over and over again out of magazines. <div>It's unfortunate that you believe being heavy doesn't make you feel bridal BUT CONGRATS ON THE 40!!!! THAT'S AWESOME!!!!! I reeeeeally want some sort of motivation to kick my butt into gear. 15 lbs doesn't sound like a lot but when you're smaller, it's harder to get off! WAY TO GO, GIRL!!</div>
