Hello! We got married yesterday. It was amazing, seriously everything we've ever dreamed of, we're still gushing about it. It's good we're not leaving for Hawaii until Tuesday because I need to relax and recover.
The Welcome Cruise was awesome!! Wow, it felt like that was our wedding. It started pouring rain right before we boarded but cleared up ten minutes later. Everyone had such a great time seeing almost all of Lake George from the boat. We kept getting thanked for inviting us to a place many guests had never been but now many hope to return. Afterwards I so wanted to go out and party with my OOT friends but made myself leave at 11 to have a sleepover with my little sister.
Woke up Saturday morning and the hair and makeup people got there at 8 a.m. (actually a little earlier). So I was ready to go for HOURS which I think reallly calmed my nerves because I was like "let's do this!" Totally fell face first down the stairs while the photographer was taking pics of me in my dress. Oops! BUt that also calmed me down because I just started cracking up.
Trolley ride to the church was the coolest idea ever. Although the town has a tourist trolley and people kept on getting mad we weren't stopping to pick them up! We got to the church too early and the guys were outside and of course my older sister screamed "keep going!" To which my dad replied "did you change your mind?"

The ceremony was beautiful. Our priest was so accomodating in incorporating Jewish traditions into the ceremony so it truly felt like a joining of our two families. Of course we totally forgot the ketubah and had to have a friend pick it up for us the day before the wedding.
Reception rocked! I was so nervous because the coordinator turned out to be a flake and I thought she would screw things up but she basically hid from us the entire wedding. Instead we were paired up with a great waiter who made sure we got all the food at the cocktail hour (including my crabcake sliders, 40 of which are in my fridge right now). Food was awesome. The band ruled - though they waited until 9 to tell us their contract was only until 10 and would be needing more $.

We were able to pay them for another half an hour which was fine. The last half hour was saying goodbye and relaxing with our friends.
So anyway perfect wedding. I know some of you have seen pics but here's one I love so far:
