Any Black Friday shopping plans out there? H and I are trying to decide whether or not to go to Best Buy for one of their laptops/netbooks.... but I don't want to stand outside for a couple hours when it's supposed to be like 10 degrees.

I'm planning on shopping on Black Friday. FI and I are buying a new tv for our bedroom and that's our gift to each other. Plus, I always get my shopping done on BF. I think it's worth it to try and get a netbook, Steph, unless you can find equally good deals online with free shipping. I love my netbook and depend on it for everything.

No Black Friday shopping for me. I refuse to go anywhere near a store after Thanksgiving. Thank god we have Friday off because I work right up the street from a mall.

And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now. H is braving early Black Friday shopping for a Dyson. God I want that thing so bad!! The plan was his brother and dad were going to go with him because they had a list of stuff to get too but it sounds like his brother is trying to back out. If he does I'll be outside of Target bright and early.... lol it'll be worth it though. After that it'll be clothes shopping with MIL and SIL after breakfast.

I'm taking off from work at 11am today to have my eyebrows tamed and get a hair cut. Then, I'm off to the paint-your-own-pottery studio to make up a gift for a different SS exchange. Then, I'm going home and making Smoky Bacon-Ginger cookies to bring to the BBQ we're having at work tomorrow in honour (or should I say "honor"?) of your TG!
Phew. That sounds like a lot.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
I am NOT black friday shopping. At least I don't think I am. H wants a cordless drill and that's about it, so I don't think I'll brave the crowds just for that. I really want a Dyson too, Shay. But my awesome aunt and uncle keep dropping hints that they're buying one for us for Christmas, so I'd hate to miss that.

Today is my Friday and I only have to work till lunch, woohoo!
I had a great workout this morning. I surprisingly didn't get bored while I was running (I loathe cardio), so that felt nice to get it out of the way without really realizing it. I must have a lot on my mind with the upcoming holidays.
The only thing I'll be shopping for on Black Friday is a Christmas tree and maybe a few ornaments. FI and I won't be celebrating Christmas till he gets back from his deployment, so that kinda makes me sad.
I am planning on trading my car in this weekend. I loooooove my Audi, but living in South Florida is really hard on it (I've had to dump about $2000 into since I moved here a year ago) and I figure if I go with a domestic car, at least FI will know how to fix it should anything go wrong with it. As it is right now, anytime it needs a bulb replaced or its oil changed, FI looks at me and says "Ugh! I hate your stupid terrorist car, everything is backwards!". So yeah....I'm looking into getting a Ford Fusion, 2007 or newer.

Well I officially have a huge cold sore on my bottom lip, and DH comes home tomorrow after being overseas for 8 days, FML. I have to work Friday and I have to be here early. I cant get away from the mall....I work here. So yeah it will be a fun day.

I admire the bravery of those of you that go shopping on BF, really. I don't even like dealing with shopping any other day of the year. I'm fairly certain that I'd end up in jail for assault and battery if I were to venture out and deal with the hordes of enthusiatic shoppers.
Thank God today is a short day. I wasn't going to come in at all but I had a last minute appointment scheduled for this morning.
I'm so excited for this weekend though- my brother and sister in law will be flying in and I haven't seen them for a year.
I hope today goes by quickly because I desperately want the four day weekend to start.

WAY too much work to be done tomorrow to consider it a weekend.
I'm not sure yet whether I'll be hitting up the Black Friday sales. i suppose I should take a peek at the ads and figure out where I need to be. Anyone know of a place where computer games like StarCraft will be on super sale? The normal price of $50 is a little steep but if I could get it for cheaper, i might consider it.

I'm going shopping with a friend on Friday. Kohl's opens at 3 am, and JCPenney at 4. Those are right next to where I live, so I might look at their ads and see if there is anything I must have. Definitely going to Target though. I'm thinking I will be totally over the madness after an hour or so though.

The only thing I'm really going to miss about my Audi (besides the compliments and admiration from others) is the get-up-and-go factor of it since it has a turbo, and you kinda need that to get around Miami without being run off the highway by insane drivers.
I swear, the drivers in Miami must eat a big plate of retard sandwiches before they hop behind the wheel. It's frightening.

Of course, my sister and I went grocery shopping last Saturday and yet she still needs me to go to the store after I get off work. I passed by a grocery store at 7:30 this morning and the lot was PACKED already. I should have followed my first mind and bought the milk and bread when we were there. Can you tell I am really pissed about this? Her husband ate all the bread this week eating sandwiches. Ugh!!
