Hello knotties! I've been going through some of the posts and I haven't really seen one that asks which style of dress you are wearing for the big day. I will be wearing Nora from Maggie Sottero, I absolutely love it! What's your dress?
I bought this dress, but it was like 3 years ago and it's been in it's bag in a safe place ever since. Me and FI had 2 surprise pregnancies after I bought this gorgeous dress (to bring our grand total to 3 kiddos...I'm DONE...LOL) Hopefully, I can fit back into it because I haven't seen anything that I like as much.
DeadUtopia: that dress is gorgeous! 3 kids huh, wow... congrats! edielaura: i coudln't see the picture, but i googled it, very pretty, so elegant! anniesunrise: i also googled it to see the train, beautiful. Cynthia: very princessy, i love it.
Hellokatie and nrawlings: I've those two dresses at DB and they are very pretty. @nrawlings, I wouldn't be able to pull off that dress, I prefer the princessy type, not tooo puffy (i wanna be able to sit down lol). I tried on a dress that was pure poof alll around and I couldn't even touch the chair when I tried to sit down at the salon, the staff was laughing at me.
i actually wanted to get married in my Steelers jersey and have a Steelers wedding but my mom would not allow that lol. i have an appt. this weekend to go try the dress on so hopefully it fits me right or i'll have to start from square one

This dress from Martina Liana, but without the colored sash. I actually tried it on with different sash though at the store that had rhinestones and pearls so I bought it and will wear that with the dress.
Casablanca 1776 I found it on sale since it was a discontinued sample...got a heck of a deal and all I had to do was have it cleaned and a little touch-up on some of the beads. I was soooo excited b/c I'm a major bargain hunter, so when I researched the original retail price of the dress, I found out I literally paid 1/10th of what it was priced
mine is st. pucchi and is two tones of blue with tones of embrodery and crystals and a corset with a flower at the base its fabulous and think it will work well with my pirate themed wedding
Hi Ladies, I could actually use some opinions for my dress. I'm getting married outdoors, in a more rustic setting. People have told me that I should wear something shorter so that my dress doesn't get dirty, but I'm afraid if I wear something shorter I won't feel like a bride. There are some short dresses, particularly by Stephanie James, that I like but I don't love. I've always liked the fit and flare styles. Any suggestions on what I should do or what designers I should look at?

The sample was in my size and it was so nice to put on a dress without having to clamp it
