Looking to elope in NOLA

Any great ideas? We want a fairly cheap wedding somewhere really nice and an affordable photographer. We are from North La and LOVE New Orleans so we were planning on honeymooning here anyway :) TIA!

    I hit you up on the other board, but just so the other responders know, I've recommended the Algiers Courthouse, Judge KK Norman, and Restaurant August for dinner. =)

    NOLAbridealmost has great suggestions!  Our photographers, Dark Roux Photography, have done quite a few elopements.  The most recent one was in Audubon Park and then to Sucre for cake.  Here is the blog they posted for it...

    The Natchez steamboat and some of the mansions uptown could also accommodate a small wedding.
    Whoever said it was supposed to be happily ever after is a big fat liar.
