Help! Engagement party thank you gift?

My parents are throwing my fiance and I an engagement party this Saturday.  I wanted to get them a small thank you gift, but no idea what to get them...we are planning on taking them out to a meal, but I would like to get them something else too...any recommendations?

    Oh, and I forgot to add, they are flying into town so I cant give them a nice bottle of wine or anything they cant really transport back easily.

    Why not buy them a night out for dinner in the town where your engagement party is to take place? Or are there any dinner theatres/theatres in the town? That may be another good idea!
