[QUOTE]Might I suggest kennel cages for the unruly little beasts? You can find them on Amazon in a variety of sizes--I'm sure you can get a couple for those inconvenient tots that will fit under your reception tables, plus the wire on the cages can easily be decorated with ribbon and flowers. That way their mother can give her undivided attention to making sure your pretty princess day is all about you.

Or, or: hide one under the cake table so when a brat crawls under *BAM* the door snaps shut and they're stuck. Then the child can be removed from the room and stowed safely elsewhere until the reception ends to serve as an example to the others.

OP two years ago H's cousin got married. She and her now H decided on a no-kids wedding because he has nieces and nephews that are exactly as you described in your OP. His sister threw a fit over it and they have not spoken since. Are you OK with this? If so, just end the friendship and the bridesmaid piece will follow. But I will say, this girl could clearly use some support and I think it's crappy of you to bail on her also right now.

I will also say, that if you expect your "special day" to be perfection, you will be sorely disappointed. I cannot think of a single wedding that I've attended or heard about that went flawlessly as planned.</div>
  • To whoever asked my age... I'm 21.
To whoever said I was I hypocrite.. not true.. I have just one kid ;-)

Well, I demoted her this morning and that's that.
She took it well when we were face-to-face and I know that on her drive home she probably cussed me out.

    It is what it is!
  • Yes, let's see the head banging!

  • So why did you bother to ask for opinions, OP? You went and did exactly what you wanted to do all along, even when everyone told you how awful it was.

I predict a very sad, lonely life for you. People will catch on when you keep treating them like crap, and eventually they'll reciprocate.

I can't imagine caring so little for my friends.

Wow. I don't normally read all the responses but you're seriously so full of yourself.

The "I'm not a hypocrite, i only have 1 kid" line made me laugh. I really hope your marriage lasts forever.....

It would really suck if you divorced your FI and were left with more children to care by yourself. Oh and alone because you ended friendships / relationships with people over one "perfect" day.

Ok, that's really bad and Un-Christian like of me but I couldn't help it with this one.
