Re: What were you most nervous about?

  • For me, it was making sure all of the wedding stuff all got to Ohio bc we live in Georiga. And making sure I had enough and good pics, its not that I didn't trust my photographer, but I am just a freak like that. I will had to admit I was also a little concerned about the food as we had not been able to attend the taste testings bc living out of state. Also, there had been some issues, change of hands with the country club where our reception was held, so I was nervous about how that was going to to work out.

Just relax. It will all work out. At the end of the day the important thing is that you will be married.
  • For me it was the weather,It was pouring the night before my wedding(and everyday before that for that matter). The place was amazing & beautiful but the whole purpose of my venue was the outside Gardens and my wedding just wouldnt have been the same if i had to have an indoor ceremony,Luckily the rain gave up and our day was brobably the most beautiful day we had all summer.
  • I can honestly say I didn't worry that much about anything.  More just us being able to enjoy our own wedding.  I was told many times that I was the most calm bride people have seen.  My best advice to people is that some things are just out of your hands, like the weather, so stressing over it is pointless.  We dropped everything we needed off to the venue the day before too, so i knew all of that was out of hands as well so there was no reason to stress.  Just be very organized on things you can control, and try not to think about the things you can't control.

  • Definitely the weather. I tried not to worry about it, because there was absolutely nothing I could do to control it, but there was rain forecasted all week for our wedding day.

Luckily, it was absolutely gorgeous and there wasn't a drop of rain all day. I was so happy!

  • Not the weather, but family problems... rather one person in particular that thought she needed to make a scene in front of all our family and friends... We let her have her glorified 15 seconds, and a few people took it upon themselves to tackle her, and remove her from the wedding proceedings.

Go friends!  We only got to see this, when the videos came in from my BIL... hahaha, omg!

We had plenty of food, and a plan B in case something was to fall short, so not at all worried about that, and I found that I was such in the whirlwind of love, that any thing that would have been an issue, was definitely tossed out the window :)

Just relax, have a good wedding day, realize why you are getting married!

  • The weather. We go married outside, in a gazebo, with the guests seated under trees. There were scattered showers and thunderstorms all day in the area. Thankfully, we were still able to have the ceremony outside instead of resorting to our rain plan. The trees kept most of the guests dry, and we were dry in the gazebo. However the front 2 rows of guests got rained on a little. That's ironic since that's where we seated the most important guests (immediate family).
  • I was worried about the timeline. We had two ceremonies in one day and I was worried about us running out of time or not having enough time.

In the end, it all worked out, but we started the wedding almost 2 hours late because half the guest list including the priest were stuck in horrible traffic. So we just moved up the cocktail hour in order to entertain the guests that were there and then moved forward with the wedding once everyone had arrived.

  • Weather.  We got married outside and it was 10 degrees hotter than it was suppose to be and we sweated our butts off. Also, it looked like it was going to pour during the reception, but it literally sprinkled for about 10 min and that was all!

  • Shipping my dress and the weather. Both turned out fine!
    Anniversary
  • weather adn the way time was whipping by the day of. Then it was OMG! OMG! This is it!! *getting married* Now, i wish I could do it all again, it really was a lovely night for everyone
  • At first NOTHING.  I was so unstressed people thought I would lapse into a coma.

    Hours before....

    1.  The people - would they be on time and would they have a good time - and most did.

    2.  Is he going to show up? Yes, he was there with bells on!
  • I was worried I would have to pee during the church ceremony, which is obviously not okay. So I didn't drink anything for the hour before, and peed like 5 times before. My throat was quite dry, but I made it through the ceremony without having to pee!
