Hi ladies. I got the proof for our STD and need your help proofing it/suggestions on anything to change before they are printed. Keep in mind our theme is vintage/rustic.
The only thing I've noticed is that the J in Join should be lowercase.

This, if it saves you money, do black and white otherwise, I like the color!

The pink and blue tie in with the front, so I think they're ok. I think they would look just as good in black. It seems like you're not happy with the color anyway. I do like mutley's suggestion about the last names on the front of the postcard.

I agree with this. Your names are almost like an afterthought. "HEY! Come to Myrtle Beach!!! Oh. Yeah. It's for our wedding."
Also, I much prefer the back in black and white. I think it's fits much better with the vintagey theme of the post card.
Those are awesome! I love them! I agree with Mutley on everything she has said so far especially the black on the back. I think the writing on the top of the back kinda bugs me. There is too much writing. Could you shorten it to maybe three lines of text?

I guess it is supposed to mimic how postcards usually have something about the city on them. I like that it keeps it looking like a postcard, ya know?

I agree that it needs some, but not quite so much. It takes up almost third of the back andif I remember right all the postcards that I ever got were much shorter than that.

I'm on the same page, since we're going with a vintage theme, the bright pink and blue look a bit too "new", I guess. Kinda throws it off, but other than that (and aforementioned "J") I think those look absolutely great!

I would have the layout with more emphasis on the names, so people know it's a STD. I'm very visual so it's hard to describe over text, but if you can imagine it in a quadrant form, with "Myrtle Beach" much smaller (and possibly one line instead of two) across the upper two, and your names and the date taking up the bottom two quads. I'd do the back text in a soft black, and unless you just love that pink, I'd change it to a less Pepto color. It looks more "Flo's diner" than vintage in my opinion. I agree, if you have the choice it would be cool to make "Myrtle Beach" a little smaller to the upper left and make your names/date bigger... it's hard to describe in text.
I also agree to drop the last names on the front
On the back, I'd get rid of the pink and go with either black or just blue for the text, and if possible, shorten the postcard text by a line or two.
But even if you made no changes I still think it's nice and your guests will love it!
Mutley is right about having it mimic the traditional postcards.
Sunbird-I can change it up to 4 times. I took Mutley's suggestion and asked for our names to be more prominent. I don't really want the Myrtle Beach smaller, but if they can't make our names larger I'll have to compromise.

I'm not sure how we're gonna mail them yet. I purchased clear sleeves to mail them in so they don't get damaged, but it costs more for postage if I use them. I don't want to mail them in regular envelopes because it defeats the purpose of them being postcards. Any suggestions?
Re: STD proof help/AW!
Do you think the back should all be black and white? Or should I leave the pink and blue?

I agree with both statements!

Does that make sense?

Help me?
Tiger- Sorry I just saw what you said now..and the F in follow was capitalized. Ugh how annoying with the random capitalization.
Nursey- Good ol' print screen and pasting into paint. It probably isn't the easiest way to go about things, but I had to black out our names anyway.
