Pie instead of cake!

Hello everyone!  My fiance and I absolutely cannot stand cake, so instead we are doing pies, whoopie pies (my mom and I are making these!) and banana puddin'.  However, I have not found a pie shop on the Outer Banks; absolutely NOWHERE.  I may just be looking in the wrong places and Googling the wrong things, but my fiance lived in KDH for 3 years and couldn't think of a place either.  We are thinking about going with a place that's before the bridge, but we'd like to find somewher closer.

Does anyone have any experience with a bakery that does delicious pies in the area?

    Grandy Farm Market in Currituck has awesome pies! They are a good 30 minutes from Kitty Hawk but pies seem easy enough to transport.

    I live on the OBX and while I know that High Cotton has yummy coconut and chocolate chess pies and you can get pies occasionally at Coastal Provisions, I can't think of a pie shop on the OBX either.
