Spray Tanning

Hey Ladies-

We are having our engagement photos taken next weekend.  I am wearing a dress and would like to spray tan prior to the session. 

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have heard that many brides on the board use Scottsdale Spray Tan.  Any other suggestions or ideas?

I am not against Scottsdale Spay Tan - just exploring all of my options!

    I haven't ever done spray tanning, but I have heard that it's really imporant to do a trial run before any big events.  I'm not sure if you have time to do one, but you may want to consider it.  Otherwise, you may be paying your photographer a lot to photoshop :)  I guess you can always reschedule if you don't like it though.  Good luck!

    I'm getting mine at Planet Beach, it always comes out even, and you can select how dark you want it.

    When I lived there I went to a place right on Scottsdale road at about McKellips.  Sun Coast or Sun Chain, something like that.  It is the machine, not a person, but it always came out nice.

    I haven't heard very good things about spray tanning, especially in pictures.  A lot of people complain that their skin looks orange in pictures even though it might not look that bad in person.   I would definetly do a test run long before the photos.

    I will have to look at the place I went too. It may be called plant tan or something like that. I had it sprayed on my face and it turned out good.

    I've used Sunchain Mystic Tan Level I and II (fair skinned) and come out just fine. follow the directions. exfoliate and be sure to do it a couple days before your photo shoot. I've also gone to Dolce salon and Spa in Chandler and used their spray machine.

    You can a custom airbrush tan at Altered Ego salon in Tempe for only $30. They also have a special if you pay up front, 5 spray tans for $120.00 The result is fabulous!
