Shoes...I don't remember if we've done this already.
It took me awhile to find mine, so I'd be interested to see everyone else's.

I know its a little unconventional around the country but i live in Texas so this is very normal. our wedding and reception is out in the country too and the reception is very rustic/country themed.

Also there is blue stiching so it also doubles for my "something blue"

Here's mine, except they're in a taupe/nude colour:

They fit perfectly with our vintage theme and are ridiculously comfy. I don't usually cope well with heels (my feet are a funny shape), but I'm so excited to wear these after the wedding too!

I am a no heels wearing gal, and FH is 5'9" so I like to be a little shorter than him!

They are super comfy and I am very excited to wear them & dance all night!

These were the ones I was supposed to wear

But I can't wear them because of my foot. Instead, I purchased these and am hoping to be able to wear them for at least the ceremony and pics. I don't care if I go barefoot after that.

I ordered all three of these to try on with my dress to see which one looks best when it comes in- I'm 5'10 and I have to wear under 2 inch heels to avoid getting the dress lengthened.

I have had the hardest time with shoes and have ended up with three pairs. I hate heels and would love to just wear flats, but I really didn't want to pay to get my dress altered.

First Pair will be for pictures and probably until my feet get tired.

This second pair is very comfy and I'll probably wear them for the ceremony and any time I can get away with them. The only problem is, they are VERY slippery on tile/wood floors. Anyone have any ideas on what would make them not slippery?

For the trash the dress, we will be on the beach and in Georgetown, Cayman. I don't think I'll be as worried about my dress dragging there and will probably wear these sandals.

Rub the bottoms with sandpaper or even an emery board to rough them up. That will help.
