We adopted her from the shelter on Friday! She is a sweetheart! She is barely 5 weeks old. She was found abandoned on the side of the road along with her 2 brothers which were adopted a few days before we adopted her so she was the only kitten at the shelter without family. She curls up on my chest/neck/shoulder to sleep, comes to me when she's hungry or needs to use the litterbox. I have become her mother.
she adores my husband and runs to the door whenever he leaves for work and wails for a bit before running back to me for solace.
I am thinking of naming her Percy (short for persistence) because whenever she smells human food she goes nuts and will not leave you alone! Just this morning she climbed up into my face while I was drinking my orange juice and was licking me lips and cheeks before I had a chance to stop her! She is definitely persistent. Haha
