I registered for fine china. The item that I want the most (right now anyway) is the snow cone maker...lol... I know it sounds kinda silly but I love those things!

Me too!!!!  I want one so bad, but I want a red one.  We're registering for fine china but I doubt anyone would buy it.  That's normally something someone's parents would buy, but since my parents are paying for the wedding I highly doubt they'd fork over money for that.

I don't recall registering for fine China. I don't see us using it. But what I want the most is... a $100 Weight Watchers scale from BBB... don't judge me! LOL!

Those who registered for fine china...if you don't mind sharing, what pattern did you select? I'm pretty sure I'd use it if we got it, but I wouldn't miss it. I have tried shopping for it, but I'm so indecisive.

@ flasweetheart - I want that mixer too...I removed it from the registry though when I found a less expensive stand mixer. I have a long way to go before I believe I've earned THAT mixer. I will treat myself when I get a little more range on my cooking expertise.

@ sweets18 - I want a snow cone now! Love them in the summer time especially!

@eagles it will come in time.  My mom thought that I was always going to be eating out because when I lived at home I never cooked.  She is so surprised that I cook and bake all the time now. She jokes with FI that she never thought I would get a man with my cooking but he tells her that I do a good job.  Start off small with easy baking recipes and then build up from there. Foodnetwork.com and myrecipes.com have some great easy ones that will get you motivated.

We registered for a leather couch from Macys, which I doubt anyone will get - I might take it off later.

@Flasweetheart - is that mixer from C&B? I added a mixer, but can't remember what brand

I don't think we'll be registering for China, or we might later when I figure out what I want the "theme" of our house to be. The whole registering process is very overwhelming!

We picked a fairly simple pattern... I wanted to be sure that I would still like it years down the line. I kinda think one of my relatives will purchase it for us. Here is a link to the one we chose. http://www1.macys.com/registry/wedding/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=436061&CategoryID=30832

@hatroopes we did ours at Bed, Bath and Beyond. I like it cause it has the dough attachment and everything and you can buy the pasta and meat grinder one to add on to it

I registered for everything including China! (FI and I are young, just starting out, and still living with the prents so we have very little home goods). We picked out the Kate Spade Union Street Setting. What I really want is Nespresso Single Serve Espresso machine. Right now I have a Keurig and I love it. The Nespresso machine is a splurge but if someone doesn't get it I plan to buy it for Christmas.

We registered at Macy's and Target. What I want the most is the Martha Stewart dishes I scanned at Macy's and the Kitchen Aid mixer from Target. I want the mixer more than anything, lol. If we don't get it, then that may be my splurge.

We registered for fine china. I actually let FI pick the pattern. Macy's hass a few patterns that can be purchased in 8 setting boxes that are much cheaper (on sale which they almost always are). Here is the pattern.

I am looking forward to my kitchen aid mixer, my toasting flutes which I love and mt fine waterford glasses to match my china and mt waffle maker.

@ flasweetheart - Thank you for the encouragement. I know that you're right...I've come a long way since we've been together and FI understands it's a learning process and he actually helps, but he does let me take the reins more so that I can get better. I can make several tasty meals now with no help, but I do survive on recipes. I don't experiment much yet.

Thanks for posting this...I hadn't paid attention to the sets and just added a 58-piece Mikasa set to our registry that is on sale for $299.00 regularly $520.00. For that price, I think it's totally worth it. I just wasn't feeling $150 per place setting which is what I was averaging by shopping around.

We registered for china at Macy like we we first got engaged! LOL!! ROTFL! Meaning I need to update it. Also ended up registering for the same set at BB and B.

I want a Kitchen Aid mixer (dreamy :D) and I want a Carpet shampooer the most because I am always spilling something! LOL!

We originally registered for fine china, but then removed it from our registry when we got real and realized that we will probably rarely/never use it.

The thing I'm most looking forward to from our registry is the wok (so we can experiment more with stir fry), the bath towels (b/c FI's towels are mis-matched and my towels have bleach marks on them), and the toaster oven b/c I don't have one and FI's is really old.

We didn't register for fine china because it'll probably just collect dust. Once I get my cooking game up, I may buy it later since we are always hosting something at our place.

Our registry has a variety of stuff, but one thing I pray someone gets is this stand to hold our wine bottles (can't remember the name of it).

I love to bake.... so I want that Kitchen Aid Mixer.  We plan to register for fine china and a everyday set.  We will probably never use the fine china, but it would be good to have and I can decorate my dining room table.

We registered at BB and B and Target; however we received several Macy's gift cards!

Anyway, I didn't register any china because we aren't "china" people, and I feel like we'd have to get a china cabinet/buffet if we had it, and we don't have room for the additional furniture.  The items I wish we'd received but did not was the bakeware items from Target and the rain/massage shower head from BB and B.  I guess I'll have to make a trip there one day and get it all!

We didn't register for fine china.  My mom left me hers.  It was never used and is absolutely gorgeous.  I really want a flip camera or Calphalon cookware set.

We registered for our fine china and silver. And honestly, it's what I am the MOST excited about receiving. My mom and dad married 42 years ago (and although they are now divorced) my mom STILL uses her china every Thanksgiving and Christmas for family dinners. Although it's a pain in the butt to clean, I really look forward to it and she does too. She also still uses her tablecloth that my grandmother bought as one of her wedding gifts. Smile I want one too!

I think I received most of the things that I really wanted.  I wanted to get fine china at first but DH helped me to realize that I was being ridiculous...especially since I don't cook.  LOL!

The thing that I was most excited about initially was the shark steam mop.  DH was most excited about the Paula Deen pots and pans (he does all of the cooking).  There are so many items that we received that have made our lives so much better i.e. electric tea kettle, panini press, crock pot, new towels.  We really lucked out.
