Antique engagement rings-New York

Hi all,

I am looking for any recommendations for places that sell antique or vintage engagement rings in New York. I am looking for something Edwardian, Victorian or Art Deco with a nice centre diamond. Can anyone suggest places to look?

Thanks.

You should probably post this on your local board.  I don't think too many girls around here are from NY. My other suggestion would be to look online.

Try Doyle and Doyle. I saw a lot of beautiful antique/vintage jewelry on their site.

I second the recommendation for Doyle and Doyle. My husband got my circa-1950 engagement ring there and I love love love it. I still wear it alongside my wedding band now that we're hitched.

Yes, D&D for sure. Also, Erie Basin in Red Hook is amazing. Otherwise you can alway get the look of an antique through brands like Beverly K, which is sold at Greenwhich Jewelers.

I love my antique Edwardian ring from them, but they actually sell both antiques and replicas. Slightly weird hours if I remember correctly (when we were looking they were only open one Saturday a month) but they were really nice and helpful.

I bought her antique engagement ring from Dale Fournier Private Collection.  It was a great experience, and I would recommend Dale.
