Last night, DH says, "If I asked you to name two superpowers, what would you say?"
Me: "ummmmmm.... Flying and x-ray vision"
He: cracks up. "OK, if I asked you to name two superpower countries, what would you say?"
Turns out he'd read an article about how China is on its way to becoming the #2 superpower in the world, and that really there are only ever 2 superpowers, so he was trying to get a feel for which I chose. My response then fueled a much better discussion about whether more people would interpret "superpower" my way or his way.
