Photographer recommendations

Hi - we are in the early stages of planning our 2012 wedding at Lake of Isles. I am interested in recommendations for photographers in the $3-4k range including two photographers all day and image rights.  Any recommendations?  TIA, I'm sure I will have additional questions as the date gets closer.

    Claudia at Fabuluxe photos!     I second Claudia.  I met with her about two wks. ago and she is adorable and her work is amazing.! She was highly recommended by a friend and by the knot.

    Try Brooke Allison Photography. Her package is 3k I believe and includes everything you listed! www.BrookeAllisonPhoto.com. She did our engagement photos and I love them. She is such an amazing person and so much fun to work with.

    I can't recommend enough Studio1923.  They're awesome and highly recommended on these boards.  In addition to what PPs have mentioned, some other popular ones: Val McCormick, RAW, Steve Depino.  They're probably the higher end of that price range though.

    Another vote for King Vincent Storm!
    We had plans to meet with other photographers, but we met with Vinny first and cancelled our other appointments because we knew he would be perfect. We booked pphotography and video with him. He's so great and his work is incredible.

    I see Studio1923 and Raw Photo Design as the best photogs in CT.  I was also ireally mpressed with Lam Photographer and Catherine Feign.

    We used Erik Maziarz, who now shoots for Carla Ten Eyck as an associate. We booked in for just under $3k and that included 2 photogs for the day, all our images on CD, and an engagement session. Not sure what his prices are now, though! He was excellent to work with and we love our photos!

    We also used KVS.  He was great.  This is another husband and wife team.  I can show you the PDF of our photo book.  We also got married at LOI.  It will give you an idea of the venue and what your options are.  It is also nice to know that a photographer has been to that particular venue.  I was not all that impressed with the preferred photography vendors that LOI had on there list.  We are overall happy with KVS.

    My photographer is Val McCormick www.valmccormick.com and she has been extremely helpful overall with our planning process. I am so busy I need all the help I can get.  I had help in choosing her by a family member that will be attending our wedding and is also a professional photographer by viewing galleries of real wedding she gave us access to.  So important to do when choosing a photographer.  He was leery when I fell in love with her website but was reassured when we viewed the real galleries.  He grimaced at some of the websites that were recs on this board.  I also considered Studio 1923, Eric Foley and Raw Photo Design. The images from these photographers are magazine quality.

    I highly recommend our photographer, Nikki Nicole (www.nikkinicolephoto.com). She takes fabulous, photos that really capture the moment and is great to work with!  I loved our engagement photos... she was out with us for several hours and we have so many great options!  I can't to see the work she will do for our wedding.  She also has an associate photographer, who does really great work as well.  They should be somewhere in your price range.

    KLS, what price range is King Vincent Storm?  I'm really picky with how photographers utilize light (I know, I'm an art geek) and I like your pics in your bio.  I'm curious what his packages are priced at (approximately)?

    Definitely check out Roger's Photography (rogersphoto.com)!!! We are using them and absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE them!  They are so personal and Ed is amazing at what he does!  They also offer some very unique things like their photo fusion package as well!
