  I just started a blog - www.nolabride.blogspot.com.
  
  I am planning my wedding from DC and honestly I couldn't find many wedding websites with New Orleans weddings or resources. It is a word of mouth town for sure. Here are a few websites I did find:

  http://nolabridetobe.com/ - they aren't posting regularly though
  
  These websites are beautiful and sometimes feature New Orleans weddings

  Photographers have some useful blogs and websites because they sometimes list the vendors or give you ideas of what you want your wedding or photos  to look like:

  I also like the reviews of vendors on www.weddingwire.com
  
  If anyone has found any NOLA focused wedding websites or blogs I would love to hear about them.

  I get the sense maybe you're looking for some "New Orleans-y things" to put on your website?
  
  Thanks to the power of Google....I found this site: http://sites.google.com/site/tracyandbob409/Home/oot-boxes .  In her AH-MAZ-ING OOT boxes, there are a lot of NOLA things listed.  Note: this is not me, I just found it by googling. 
  
  I also think this site is just cool in general: http://www.experienceneworleans.com/glossary.html , you could link to it or something.

  I wasn't happy with the pre-fab wedding websites on the knot or wedddingplanner so I decided to make a blog on wordpress. It definitely took more time, but it's still free and I've been able to customize it just the way I want.
