Anyone planning on doing first look photos? because of the way our wedding is arranged it is going to be a great idea for us. If you are doing first look photos how long before the ceremony will they take place and do you have any creative ideas for the first look? I'm looking forward to seeing my FI alone before everyone else sees us together.

We are doing first look. I have pinned a few pictures on pinterest that I would like to do before we actually see eachother, where he is blindfolded but we are in front of each other. I think it will be a really nice experience we will both be excited and get a few minutes to enjoy eachother.

I don't think it will take away from seeing him as I am walking down the aisle it will be its own amazing feeling I'm sure.

ETA: Missed the first question we are going to start bridal party pictures and first look pictures at 2 and our ceremony starts at 5.

I think we're doing them! I'm debating whether we should do them at the hotel where we are staying or if we should find a secluded area at the venue.

We are doing them. We are both very emotional and I wanted those few moments with him before the hustle & bustle of the day! We are doing first look pictures at about 2:45-ish and doing all the other pictures after. The ceremony is at 5:30

We aren't doing them, but I think if we did I would want it to be somewhere we would definitely be alone... with the photographer of course

We aren't doing a traditional first look. We're doing the thing where we hold hands on opposite sides of a door. So we'll calm each other down, have a cute photo op, and he won't see me before the ceremony. We're planning on doing it with just the two of us (and photographer of course).

We're doing a first look. I'm hoping the weather is nice because I want all group pics at a park. Our ceremony starts at 4, and here's our plan: We'd go with the photographer and do first look at a relatively secluded area of the park (around 1). Then the bridal party joins and we do those pics (around 1:30). Then formal family pics (around 2:30) and get to the venue by 3:30.

WE ARE!!

We'll be doing these at our capitol's state house...it's SO pretty! I'm SO looking forward to having this little private moment together before the day really starts up.

We're doing them! This way we don't have to spend forever taking pictures after the ceremony. We plan on doing the majority of our pictures before then we'll just have to do family pictures at the venue.

The way I have it planned out (for now) is FI and I will first see each other around 2:30. We'll be doing individual pictures with our bridal parties before then FI and I will meet with just the photographer on a pier on Lake Michigan (pray for good weather!!!). My vision is to have FI standing in front of the lighthouse with me walking up behind him. I get so excited just thinking about it!!!

After our first look we'll take pictures with the entire bridal party, maybe stop at a local bar down the road from the venue for a few fun pictures then head to our ceremony!!
