Anyone have any experience with a reception at Margaritaville? They emailed me a PDF with their package information. I wasn't too impressed. They charge at least $40+ per person for 3 menu options, and another $30+ per person for alcohol (and that's not even for all their drink options) The package includes a cake too, but I just want a fairly laid back reception, so I don't really care about a cake. There's also a 23% service fee.
They also will only confirm the availability 90 days out. So what if I send my invitations and then a larger event books at Margaritaville & we have to change our plans after the invitations have gone out. I wouldn't be very happy.
I honestly just want my guests to be able to order whatever food & drink they want off the menu and we'll pay the bill. Can I just make a reservation for ~25 people, or do they require groups that large to book "an event"?? I would prefer to have outdoor seating, but it's not a requirement.
