    Its stunning to me that these people even have friends that are willing to be in thier BP. This self-centered ME!ME!ME!behavior can't be new just because of the wedding although it may be more exaggerated. Some of these girls really need to get a grip.

    Wow. Just...wow.

    I think I'd be super-thrilled if one of my hypothetical BMs was pregnant. So many women have such a hard time trying to have children.

    Oy.

    As for the piercings and tattoos...she needs to swallow a chill pill and grow up. As a lot of the posters pointed out, the kiddies are gonna notice their auntie's tattoos long before they crack mum and dad's wedding album.

    Personally, I think if that's how she really feels, she should tell her matron of honor, so her matron of honor (as well as probably all her other friends) will see what a selfish b*tch she is and she likely won't have a wedding party at all. What a joke.

    I get the not-wanting-tattooes-or-piercings-in-your-pictures, but it's rude of a bride to ask a bridesmaid to cover them up or take them out. If you're that concerned with the appearance or propriety, don't ask them to be in the wedding. My MOH has tattoos and I could care less.

    I don't get the oh-gawd-she's-preggers-she's-out concept. I'd be thrilled for one of my bms (well, except the two that are under 16, lol) was pregnant for our wedding. It's really not a big deal...just take the little bit of time it takes to make sure she's comfortable (proper dress, shoes, a chair if she needs it) and go on with your day. It's beyond rude to boot a bm just because she's with child.

    Honestly, I know that it bugged my friend.  Not in a 'I don't want you in my wedding sort of way' but my pregnancy has definitely caused a rift in our friendship.  I am hoping it is temporary and that she will see that friendships can evolve.  Mainly, she just doesn't want me to be pregant right now.  The timing has nothing to do with her wedding but more of a 'stages of life' thing. 

    I will just be a blip next to the 8.5 month pregnant bridesmaid anyways.

    Yeah I second or third the 'I look more pregnant than you do" thoughts. Is it (being pregnant) totally weird? I've been fat before but 1. It doesn't happen as quickly and 2. There was no one else living in there. It was just extra "me". Must be like an alien invasion.

    I know I am not huge.  That will come later.  It is just wierd.  I have never gone above a certain weight, so needless to say I am seeing numbers on the scale that I have never seen.  Plus none of my clothes fit.  Well, my old clothes don't fit.  I am fairly stocked up on maternity wear now. 

    Alien invasion is exactly what it is.  I tell DH all the time that my body has been taken over.  You can read about all of the wacko crap that will happen to your body but none of it compares to what actually happens.
