Pictures I took at my mom's wedding in January! Same reception site that we're using, w/o the tent though. The dining area will open up into a gardeny area.
We made the rose centerpieces the night before during out "make centerpieces" party.
and now for the sloppy... my highschool friends wedding in which we were horribly drunk because of pregamming to their cash bar (come on, we were 21 give us a break haha) and the horrible woman he married. She actually told me she wanted to make her bms look ugly so she would be pretty. She looked horrible which is odd because she is a pretty girl. Karma is a bitch.

me and mikey! looks nice: but it is sloppy when we steal the flowers:
and then progress to skinny dipping and body shots:
Ok, here's a couple. A friend of mine from college married a rancher this summer. They had a backyard wedding with her brother officiating, and a BBQ reception. They potted flowers as center pieces and gave them as favors. At each table was a touching or profound quote about marriage and family. At the siblings table was this quote-
By the end of the afternoon, the alcohol had flowed and the guests were well and truly toasted. I was one of the few not toasted both ways, because I hid under the mother of all garden hats, so no sunburn for me.

hahhaha ok well it was from the same wedding where we skinny dipped but the back story is that the brides bms told us we were all trash (at the wedding) and we caught one of them kissing the grooms dad at the back bar so we decided to get the back by throwing beer on them at the after party. AGAIN, I was 21 so judge away here I am though after throwing beer... my friends were telling me not to tell anyone in this scene

hahha well I don't judge me either, but it was one of the most epic nights of my life :)
Thanks! I had a little sun damage funkiness removed from my cheek this spring (years of being a professional ski bum caught up with me- Use sunscreen!) and I needed a hat in a hurry one day. I was at the gift store at the Sonora Desert museum near Tucson getting ready to hike and found that one. It's actually light-weight corduroy, draw string for sizing, and has a huge freaking corduroy flower on it. My dad took one look at me and decided I look like Julia Child in it. It's now my go-to sun hat.
The quote cards were all printed over the brides photography. That one is their cattle dogs. I'm thinking about doing something similar in our wedding, but I haven't been able to decide how. I don't want to just straight up copy and to table placards. Anyone have any ideas?

I love to be on the dancefloor all night! There is a joke in my group of friends that the reason I married Mike is because he is the one guy who likes dacning better than me. I am not kidding. He does the most awesome Michael jackson impressions and busts a move.
I don't have many. I've been to 4 weddings, but 2 I was little and don't have any pictures on my computer. The only pics I have from the third have my friend in them and I don't think she'd want me posting her pic. So here are a few from the last one, actually for the couple that hooked H and I up:
Waiting for the ceremony to start:
The reception (ours looked a lot like this, since we used their tents and a few other things and was als outside):
The ceremony site (yes, we mostly all had to stand):
Nice! I love dancing, but I suck at all forms other than the country two-step. Since John doesn't dance and neither does anybody else on our guest list, we''re not really planning on dancing. We'll have space and music, but expect folks will just stand around and chat. Besides, I'd be doing well enough to be walking by then. When we did our BBB registry last week, we even registered for one of those walking canes that folds out into a seat for me to use on our honeymoon. There's some awesome sauce right there.

Thanks M&M! I love that pic of H because he looks all "Yeah, I'm too cool to give a full smile." But really, he hardly ever smiles in pics, he hates the way he looks.
