Re: Anyone 'round these parts?

  • I had no idea doctors pierced ears.

  • My parents finally let me pierce my ears in 5th grade. I could not WAIT and thought it was so colossally unfair that my friends had theirs done as babies.

Ciara, I haven't been around much because work has been crazy - do you mind giving me cliff notes? I'm sorry your FIL is being a jerk.

  • Actually now that I think of it, I don't think I have mentioned it here. My FIL was talking to his history class and somehow us taking Edmund to church came up. He mentioned to his students that he was going to have to take matters into his own hands to get E to church since we, apparently, have no intention of taking E to church.

I got pissed off and told H to confront him about it and they got in an argument that his student misinterpreted what he was saying. The point that he doesn't seem to get is that E is not his child and he doesn't get to make those decisions and he shouldn't be talking about our life in his classroom.

  • I just has an asthma attack, and while I was getting everything back under control, my husband says "Learn how to breathe!" and I almost died because I started laughing and couldn't breathe again.

    Jerk.

  • Maybe my mom did it and she just told me that :)

  • Is his history class a religions class? If not, why are they talking about religion in it?
  • I have several friends that have had their pedis pierce their daughters ears.

  • How did you find out he said that, Ciara?

  • One of his students in the class it was mentioned is a coworker of mine.

  • Well I'm back.  The couple went into the room I setup.  Now I have to wait until Monday to hear if she said "YES"

DH is really sick.  Like 102 temp for a few days sick.  Dude will not go to the doctor.  It's pissing me off.

  • Lynda, lets hope she did. I'm sorry your husband is sick. He needs to go to a doctor. Tell him all you TK friends tell him he has too.

<div>This would drive me crazy too...I really wouldn't want my coworkers hearing personal stories about how I'm raising my child in a class. </div><div>
</div><div>Lynda, do you think he has the flu? I unfortunately have no advice on making him go to the doctor. My H is "one of those" as well. </div>

  • Evening, ladies.

I'm shot.  H and I spent the day shopping for furniture and putting it together.  The den looks pretty good (though it's still not done), and the living room is a mess.  H just went to sleep.  At 9 PM.  Old man.

Yowch, Lynda.  He needs to go to the doctor :(  A continuous temperature that high is not good at all.

I agree with you. All he is doing is making it worse by waiting.
