Hump day is upon us ladies (and the one gent I haven't met?)...what do you all have planned?

I am (edit: should read: we are) babysitting my two nephew's-in-law with FI again today. Yesterday was day one, Friday is going to be day three. I don't know if I will make it to day three. One is 23 months old, the other 10 months old. Yesterday was exhausting. I may not be cut out for parenting. And poop stinks so bad when it is mush and half way up a baby's back. Sigh.

In other news, the invites are almost done. This is good. I want to start getting RSVPs!

Ew, baby poop. I remember having to change my brother's diaper and it was terrible. I'm definitely not cut out for motherhood just on that alone.

Congrats on the invites! Mine took forever to put together but they turned out great. And getting RSVPs was the best.

I have nothing but work planned today. Tonight, I'm trying out a new recipe, a kind of pizza rolls with pizza sauce, mozz. cheese, and pepperoni bits all wrapped up in dough.

Little kids are tough. I've spent most of my life avoiding babysitting them because of a bad experience when I was younger.

Be careful what you wish for. All of a sudden you're going to be at 2 months, and then it flies by. You'll be sitting there a week before your wedding going "Oh crap! I ran out of time!"

Morning.

Baby poop is nasty. I feel like, though, when it's your kid, you build up to the nasty poop, so it doesn't seem as bad? At least, that's the impression I'm under.

I hate today. I'm PMS'ing and grumpy. I started crying in the kicthen this morning because the dishes weren't done. Blah.

We just got back from an early walk with Em, and now she's sleeping on my shoulder. I need to try to put her in her crib soon, but I'm not hopeful since every time I tried to put her down yesterday, she woke up.

Morning!
Today I need to walk at least 3 miles in the worst heat ever. I was supposed to get up at 6 am to walk, but slept till 8. Poop.

And speaking of poop, baby poop is the reason I don't want kids. Or if I do have kids, I want them to pop out at 3.

Sad panda indeed. One the plus side, we may be hooking up the plumbing in our bathroom reno tonight. We move into the house at the end of November and started the bathroom reno at the end of December. I'm REALLY looking forward to having a second bathroom again. Especially on days like today when my legs hurt so bad that I avoid stairs like the plague.

Now, if only Home Depot could get us the correct drain for our sink, we could have water to wash our hands with too!

I don't think so. I'm trying to call the management company now.

They always have him try to fix things here, but the building is old and the pipes are in bad condition. He does what he can, but he's not a miracle worker. Someone needs to get a g-damn plumber here. Ugh.

I think water is one of those things that need to be taken care of immediately.

npa, check out local bylaws. Sometimes super's a a bit faster with getting the work done when you can quote which bylaw they're violating and mention that you've spoken with an by-law officer (assuming things like that are the same there as they are here).

Morning! I'm in a super mood because my Dad and I got in a big fight last night when I found out (via Facebook!) that he is in a new relationship. He's not even close to having his divorce from wifey #3 finalized yet. Yaaay.

Seshat, what you described are pepperoni balls. *tee hee* They're a big thing in the Great Lakes region. I never heard of them before I went to school in Erie.

Thanks, Raynes, I'll check it out. I know he's defintiely working on it, and had been, but he can't call someone in till they give him the go ahead. I'm on the phone with them trying to to see what their malfunction is. But I'll simultaneously check laws so I have something concrete to tell them.

Howdy. It's my last full day of work before a nice looong weekend - we leave Thursday afternoon for Dallas and return Sunday, but I'm also off Monday. And we're flying, so no 12 hour drives with a 60 lb dog in my lap. J will pick me up between 1:30 and 2 tomorrow.

However, apparently, the one thing we should have asked for as a wedding gift was a canoe.

They're not really balls, they're rolls. Like, the ingredients aren't stuffed into the dough like ravioli. It's more like lasagna rolls, the dough is laid out flat, spread the ingredients on, then rolled up like a cinnamon bun. That's the best I can describe it. I think the recipe calls them Pizza Swirls.
