Bridesmaid's Dress Alterations

Hi there! I'm getting married in Raleigh, NC, but one of my bridesmaids lives in NYC. I chose J.Crew dresses for them and J.Crew doesn't do alterations. Can you all recommend some reasonably-priced, high-quality tailors for bridesmaids alterations? Even if it's where you got your dress done, if they'd do bridesmaids dresses I'd be glad to get your recommendation!

    I posted earlier looking for a seamstress and was told to see Susan at the Wedding Dresser. She hasn't done anything with my dress yet, but I've spoken with her on the phone and she seems very knowledable. She also has excellent reviews on Yelp.

    If your girlfriend is in manhattan, I know that Lauren Gabrieson, or http://www.laurengabrielson.com does some alterations. She is better known for custom dresses, but I saw that she did some alterations for dresses not purchases in house.

    But I might be wrong, however her yelp page says alterations.
