Has anyone bought from online dress stores like Store of Dress or Perimart?

I was just wondering if anyone has bought a dress from an online store that has dresses at too-good-to-be-true prices? If so, what kind of quality was the dress? Was it what you expected?

  • I've never heard of Perimart, and Store of Dress hasn't gotten good reviews here (plus, why would you buy from a place called "Store of Dress" anyway?).

Pearlsplace.com, netbride.com, rkbridal.com and jaysbridal.net are all legit wholesalers that have gotten good reviews. You get a real designer dress, not a crappy knockoff. You're just avoiding the salon's markup charges.

  • I totally agree with PP the best place is Pearl's Place.  Reliable real vendor for a large number of companies and a real store selling real dresses.

    Hi,

I have no experience with the sites listed, but my Cousin bought her dress from http://www.colettejeanbridal.com/wedding_dresses_-_pg_1.  It was lovely and an amazing deal for the price.  She could not be happier.  She paid with the payaway policy and they were very nice and accommodated her.  We have all decided to get our bridesmaid dresses from there as well because we were so surprised with the quality.

    Good Luck!
  • I got mine online and I am very happy with it I got it www.blowoutbridal.com I haven't heard of House of dress or the other one so I can't vouch for them. I do have to say be careful of ridiculous pricing, a.k.a on e-bay custom gowns for .99. I have heard that they end up looking nothing like the picture and they don't accept returns.
    Good Luck
