The one in CT is nice. It's never been busy while I was there. Pretty easy going experience. The ones in Berlin were crazy. The running joke of the Berliners was that Berlin was going to become the new capital of sweden. I like childrens rooms done up in IKEA. and the storage stuff-very creative for small spaces.

They work like a charm- as long as the pill is on the smaller side. Our cats would eat them all day long- with or without a pill. My mom, the vet tech, swears by them.

For some reason the IKEA here is just always balls-out crazy.

Whenever I've had to give Tory meds, I fold it into a piece of PB covered bread and she inhales it. Then again, she is a lab, so she is pretty much a garbage disposal if I wanted her to be.

When we first got our kitties we had to give them pills every day...twice a day. I perfected the open jaw-insert pill-close mouth and force swallow technique. Frankie will eat anything wrapped in a pupparoni.

Really? that's strange. I just give it (the heartworm meds) to tory straight up and she practically swallows it whole. I wondered what it tasted like since it doesn't look like normal "treat" shape or anything. Maybe Tory just doesn't care haha.

After Box Kitty's accident two years ago, I actually was able to give her her liquid meds all by myself by the last dose. Liquid meds are awful.

My parents' dog loved her heartworm pill. My mom would get her all excited asking if she wanted her treat and toss it on the floor and she'd gobble it up and look for more.

Oh I didn't know heartworm meds came in a hard pill form, but yeah that would make a difference. I'd probably put it in a PB bread sandwich then too.

I agree with you Jal, labs aren't very picky. Though at least she USUALLY can tell what types of materials she should not swallow if she tries chewing on it.

Jake is usually good about not eating things he's not supposed to unless there are muffins or Snickers laying (lying? I never get these right) around. Or KC's treats. He hogs her treats. We have to throw his so he runs after it while KC sits there and then we give her hers.
