  we got pew bows from dollar store and glued a fake single flower in center they were also from dollar store so cheap. Then take bows and put in center of table for receptions or backs of reserved seats they are so easy. we did reserved seats for sister wedding but they ended up on table at the end of the night and were cute.

  I recently saw a picture in a magazine where they lined the aisle of the church with very short candles in small hurricane vases. I want to do this also, but dont want to spend alot of money.  I opted to buy battery operated tea-lite candles which are in their own votive holders and they only cost me about 17 dollars for 50 of them.  You can then place the whole votive in a hurricane glass, or just lay them as is on the ground lining the aisles.  Then you can dress it up by adding flower petals (if you wont already have a flower girl or one that will really throw the petals).  In the picture I saw, there was a white runner with the candles and flower petals on either side of the runner.  The runner did not have petals on it.  Your flower girl can then add petals as she goes, or not.  In the picture, this looked like the most simple, elegant thing to do.

  I want to Thank everyone for their for the ideas!!!! We have decided to just do simple rose petals and candles!!!!
