NWR - Need Cool Venue

HI girls... old married knottie here.

I'm helping a friend throw a birthday bash for her daughter who is turning 15. The theme is Cirque du Soleil so we are thinking the venue should be something cool! 

I'm not very familiar with "cool" non-wedding type venues in Miami so maybe someone here can help.

About 80 ppl... budget $5k.

    I wish I could help! I don't really know any places in Miami though! :( What about Vizcaya or Acqualina? Those are about the only places I know of down there! :)

    I was going to say the shane center too...very pretty, blank and around half of the budget to rent, I believe. I'll think a little more! <3

    Hi girls... thanks! I had suggested all those but they were all over budget. Shane Center was on my original list for my wedding, but because it is such a blank slate, to pull of a Cirque style party would take a lot $$$

    My friend ended up booking a jazz club inside the Deuville Hotel. A bit out of budget, but she cut the list down and the decorations won't need to be as much.

    Thanks again!  It's kinda fun to be back on here for planning :-)  Miss you girlies!
