photo booth questions

Hi everyone!  I have a few questions on photo booths for you wise women, hopefully you can help because I have never experienced one myself!

-  What is typical pricing?  I saw one for $950 and that is out of our budget, but is that what they run for?
- Do they all give you a CD of all the pics people took in the booth?  The $950 one we were quoted did, and I am wondering if that is why the price seemed so high.
- what photo booth companies are you using/ have you used?
- For those who have done it, was it worth it?

Thanks so much for your input!!!

I am paying $925 for five hours, a CD with all the pics, and guests get one print out. My friend used someone else and paid $875 for only four hours, one print out for the guests, and she didn't get a CD with all of the pics - she was pretty bummed out about that because she just assumed all places would give the CD, so now she doesn't even have copies of all of the pics.

    $1200 for four hours

Yes, we got a CD with everyone's photos. That price also included an attendant, delivery fees, a scrapbook, and double printouts (guests kept one and put the other in our scrapbook).

Masters of Fun Entertainment, from Cherry Hill
    - For those who have done it, was it worth it?
Yes! The guests loved it and our scrapbook is hilarious.

I also got a photobooth for my wedding. I actually got lucky. I received an email about a promotion Garden State Photobooths was running where they were giving 50% off. It turned out to only cost $750 for 4 hours CD, props & and scrapbook included.

check out custom incredibles as an alternative.  I think what they offered was much better than a photobooth and the crowd was really into it.

I wrote a review on them last week I think

$950 is a good price.  We're paying about $800 but that's because we got it included with our DJ package, otherwise it would have been $1000 for 5 hours, with a cd and copies of photos included.

We are using Memory Lane Photobooths. For $1150 we are getting 5 hours. Color or black and white pictures. Personalized caption on the bottom. A scrapbook with pens etc, two attendants helping, two strips come out -- one for us and the other for our guest. Props for the photobooth. Also, we get either a USB or a CD of all of our pictures at the end.

Wow thanks so much- it is great to know that the pricing we were quoted was pretty much in line with the market, if not a little less.  I appreciate it!

I just booked my DJ and photobooth and I got it for about 30% the seperate price . If your DJ has them, demand a package deal!
