Tanning before b-pics

To those of you who did b-pics did you do any tanning prior? I always feel thinner when I'm tan so I figure it is a good idea.

My session is May 22nd so I have about a week to get tan. I'm trying to figure out if I should start hitting the tanning booth or do a spray tan. I did Mystic tan a few years ago and it was pretty good, but my hands and feet didn't come out so good. I noticed the post below recommended Glow - but I live in the metrowest area - too far from Braintree. Anyone have any spray tanning suggestions out that way?

    If you only have a week, I don't know how much of a tan you can get in that short a period of time.  Maybe if you went everyday, but I don't think that's recommended. I've never gotten a spray tan so I can't attest to that, but one week just doesn't seem like enough time to get a meaningful tanning bed tan.

    Agree with PP about one week probably not being enough.  I tan easily and it still a good week to get past that kind of reddish/pinky phase - so getting spray tanned is probably a the best way to go.  I personally don't recommend Mystic Tan - and if you already had a band experience with your hands and feet, def don't do it for pics in your full on birthday suit!

    Try to find an airbrush tan closer to you.  My friend was just telling me about a great one in Woburn - I think it's the Advanced Airbrush Tanning one (and they have good reviews online).  She loved it.  Is that any closer?

    I just tried yelping one in the Metro West and Bella Skin in Newton came up with a good review!  That's a lot closer.

    PS - Ditto -I'm a huge believer in a tan makes anyone look better - especially thinner ;)

    i have not gotten the tan at bella skin but i have been there and they were great

    I do all my waxing at Bella Skin they are the BEST!!! I never knew they did the spray tan, but I just called them and they do! Problem solved - thank you so much for suggesting them :)

    The best part so far has been shopping for lingerie. I spent half my paycheck at agent provocateur the other night, but the outfits make you feel super sexy.
