Need Save-the-Date opinions, por favor! PIP

Hey!

We've been working on our save-the-dates, and I would be so grateful for your ideas and help. What do you think of these options? I put a number in the bottom left corner of each for reference.

A little context:
-We're going to order a custom-made stamp from an Etsy seller to make this
-This will be stamped and embossed onto 4 by 6" paper-thin wood veneer

THANK YOU!

I like the graphics of the third one, but I'm not loving any of the font combinations.  The fonts by themselves are nice, but I think you need to change one out to make the whole design more cohesive.  Specifically, I think the text font in the second/third are a little too playful for the seriousness of the tree (not exactly, but I don't know how to articulate it) - maybe change it to more of a serif font?  IDK.  Something about the fonts isn't quite right for me.  I think you're on the right track though!

ETA: I like the "hitching of" playing off a cowboy theme and the text font choice, but the script doesn't seem to jive with it for me again.  I really like the text font though!!

ooohh I love the 2nd one!  The birds on the date are cute in the 3rd, but it looks too crowded for me?

So I like the leaf from the first one and think you should put it on the second one and make the playful font maybe a bit less playful - like Georgia font - or something like that that is less ornate but not so relaxed.

Can you make the brackets around the date more like the original 2-3?

I like the original #3 minus the birds.  I agree that it's too crowded, but it might just appear crowded in the photo and not so much in real life.  In the second 2 you posted, I think the design around the date is too busy.  I would make the date stand out a little better with a more simple design.

That being said, choose the one you and your fiance love!  I think the ideas you have are great and the details are just a matter of opinion - none of them are bad at all.  Go with what your gut tells you.  Any of them will be great!

I do too!  Though I would change the font of the date :)

Do you know how the ornate design/fonts will transfer to a stamp, and how the stamp will transfer to the wood?  I'd think the design/fonts should be really basic and not ornate/scrolly, but I've never done it before, so IDK!

Is the Etsy seller making a stamp for the entire STD, including all of the wording? Or is the stamp just for the tree? I've been thinking of doing a custom stamp for our STDs or invites, but I have no idea how expensive it would be.

Originally it was going to be for the whole thing, text and all. BUT last night we heard back from the seller with his quote, and the stamp itself is totally reasonable ($29), but with a stamp of that size, you would want to get a "rocker mount" for cleaner, even stamping, which bumps it up to $79! I researched buying a rocker mount and mounting the rubber stamp ourselves, and it's not any cheaper that way.

Luckily, FI and I received our sample pack of wood veneer paper in the mail, so we tested it in our printer with black ink, and it looks AWESOME --- maybe even better than embossing! So the update as of last night is that we're skipping the large stamp, we're going to print the text, and find a pretty tree or leaf stamp and just emboss that in a nice color.

Debbie- you need a bio!  I'm dying to see what this "wood veneer paper" looks like.
