Help! My mom doesn't like my dress.

When I went shopping, my mom couldn't go with me. I bought a dress and she told me months later that she didn't like it. She and I then went shopping and she really liked another one I had tried on and also really liked. So I am looking opinions which of these two dresses is better on me. I am not going to tell you which I bought. I want honest opinions

    I think Dress B is stunning on you, but I agree that if Dress A was properly fitted it would also look awesome.

    Is it possible that your mom is just upset that she wasn't able to go shopping with you the first time and is trying to be a part of dress shopping after-the-fact?

    I picked A. It is more flattering on you. 
    It might be my personal preference, but I don't like the lace on B (although the back and train are gorgeous). Something about it just seems... off. I prefer A, at least on you. 

    Both are beautiful, and you're going to be beautiful no matter what.

    Dress A !!

    I just realized the previous pic didn't show the beading on the straps

      





    and I am going to keep it (despite more than 80% of the votes being for the lace dress.) I like that it is flowy and soft and make me feel not like a princess like so many brides say ( I didn't want that) but rather like a Greek goddess. :-) 

    @roseofdeborah: That would be an amazing dress!

    @avion: maybe so. She also doesn't like that it is ivory (I would have ordered dress b in white)

    @ raes: thanks I am hoping as it all comes together she will think it is beautiful (the hard part was that I really liked both dresses)

    I totally get how you feel about the flowy dress! I tried the whole tight thing and was not comfortable even if it looked great on me. You look beautiful in your dress and on your big day your mom won't care what dress you have on!

    i like B as well. BUT it's not our wedding its not your mom's wedding it's yours. my wedding is next year and WE are doing a hippie tydye theme....from the 70's. my mom is my best friend and she came up w the great idea to have me have the flowers weaved into a crown----im doing BUT as for part of my dress being tydye not happy bout that she said "cant you just have a traditional wedding Id want one" and I wanted to say "then go have one im not" but I didn't. I think it's your wedding. it happens ONCE and its YOUR day....what makes YOU happy is what counts!! :)-
