I'm liking this coat. Simple. Not too bulky. I think the collar would be nice with dealing with the wind. However, I would want it in black or charcoal grey. Let me know if you know of something similar.

JCP was having a $99 coat sale last week when I got the ad. Knowing them, it's still going on. That's a fairly basic style and I gasped out loud at $225. You can get that style lots of places and far less than $225.

Unfortunately, my work treats us like children and I can't access many shopping sites. I'll look later tonight maybe, when I'm getting my drink on.

I'm look at Macy's website and Kenneth Cole and Anne Klien seem to be doing some things that I like. I'll check that out this weekend.

JC Penny usually makes my skin crawl. Everything is synthetic. I'll give it a try though. For you.

Isn't pretty much everything synthetic anymore?

I guess I don't pay much attention to the composition of fabric as I do the cut/feel/stitching. I don't have a lot of skin allergies though, so as long as it's not wool or that furry stuff that'll make me itch all over, I don't have to worry about it.

Honestly my favorite coat for years was from the military surplus store, navy pea coat. I wore the heck out of that sucker.

Ooh I really like both of those, Skankenstein. That first one especially.

Nico - that is what I am looking at. I have been skulking at the Macy's website and there are a few there I like. This one stands out because it has a removeable hood.
