So this morning we found this little bat on our driveway. He managed to hop his way up under our house.

Then a little later, I noticed these weird things in my neighbor's front yard. I went to see what it was and it was pieces of a cat. There was about half a tail, a piece of a foot, and some other part that I couldn't tell what it was. It was very sad.
My morning was just too bizarre not to share. How is everyone else's day going?
Re: I had a weird morning (sad and kind of graphic)
My day started off with cat vomit and bloody diarrhea (cat again) but is looking up now. I just have to give her antibiotics for 5 days and she should be fine.
I'm trying to get motivated to do something today, anything. I spent so much time yesterday doing stuff I just cannot motivate myself to get off the couch.

Katie - I hope your kitty gets better soon! As for the lack of motivation, I'm in the same boat. I really need to clean, but I don't want to.
I am wanting this work day to go by quicker. I'm stuck at the desk and I'm starting to feel sick.
I would probably cry if I saw cat parts in the yard. That's horrible.
Yeah, FI lives SO close to Boston proper, and near a large highway, and we see coyotes in the yard ALL the time- it amazes me. I'm betting it was a coyote. So, at least probably quick, and also it least it went back into the food chain, rather than, say, being hit by a car.
Ok, I'm depressing myself looking for the silver lining here, but you get my drift!
Katie- so I take it Demon is doing better. Havent been bale to check, they actually expect me to work today.
Sarah- You'll be fine I promise. I was like this for a bit before my wedding. I had a fear I would do that "sobbing" cry and would nt make it through my vows. But the day of I was so calm, my MOH cried but I didnt.
Oh, and I love love love my area. Even though I had the whole "all vets closed on Wed" problem, the vet I went to today that was 2 towns over was only a 15 minute drive. I forget that the towns here are like..a mile...

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
And Katie - glad to hear your cat is going to be okay!
If I ever found cat parts in my yard, I would cry and vomit, in no particular order.
Knitti - That's a good point about it at least being quick. If nothing else, the poor cat didn't suffer.
kd - I agree. If we had a cat, it would be an indoor one. That freaks me out.

[QUOTE]Katie, I'm so glad to hear your cat is going to be OK.! My day is... going. <strong>I feel nervous about the wedding, and there's really no specific reason why. It's freaking me out.

I was just fine until about two days before the wedding. Then I was so tense I just did not know what to do with myself. I should have just taken several hours to myself to get my head clear, but I felt I could not with everything going on. Not sure when your day is, but it seems with most people that feeling comes and goes for days or weeks or months.

I freaked the week before the wedding. I just felt like nothing was going to get done, no one was going to show up, etc. I was then jolted out of that by my rat passing away the day of my bachelorette party which brought me back down to earth. Then the night before my bm said "Dude, you're getting married in 12 hours" and we both turned into giggling 16 year olds.

I remember we were driving back from the airport and it all hit me and I just started sobbing in the car. Scott asked what was wrong and I just went "All my ratties are gone" and just lost it.
